Free Parties, mailing lists, Culture

A couple of not-so underground mailing lists and sites for beginners

Dales London Techno page - find the best parties through this list, a really good starting point for finding techno parties in London.

Ravers geriatric - a mailing list for us senior ravers, no kids allowed but there are a lot of Americans. This list has introduced me to some truly weird and wonderful people from both sides of the pond.

UK-dance - THE British list for meeting strange people, finding contacts with the underground techno scene and talking about everything from politics to sugar puffs, even on occasion, music. This list has had an interesting effect on me, introducing me to people I simply wouldn't have met without it, its taken me to some of the best parities I've been to and pointed me toward the wonderful sounds of the London techno "underground".

Live munting - net radio

Pirate radio - live mash-up from da bunker in the East end of London (real audio player needed) - it's been off-air for a wile, but should be back eventually.

Network 23

Network 23 doesn't actually exist. Here are some of the places it doesn't exist in

N23 Manchester - Blocking the plug-hole of your internet bathtub with some vaguely interesting scum.
N23 London - decide if you're friendly or not before entering this site.
N23 Brighton - Seaside munting
N23 Reading - Based in a rats nest
N23 Edinburgh - This site uses frames so stop living in the dark ages ... er, yeah
N23 central - The site thats stopping to not work

Network 23 also doesn't exist in a lot of other places around the world.

Not the sort of event Network 23 doesn't get involved in.
